Photo Shootout Entries–How Much?

cat biting cameraWondering how much it costs to enter your photos in our annual juried photo shootout?

It depends–if you’re a “Novice”, meaning this is the first time you’ve ever entered in any show–it costs $10 per photo. For an “Amateur”, an “Advanced Amateur” or a “Pro”, the cost is $15 per entry [an “Advanced Amateur may ocassionally do photography “for hire” but doesn’t make a substantial part of their annual income by taking photos, whereas an “Amateur” makes no $ from their photography. “Pro”s obviously work for $ and are trying to make a living with their craft.] For “Children” under 12, the cost is $5 per entry.

Up to four(4) entries are allowed per photographer. Printing and mounting costs are also not cheap–so, no it’s not free–but it’s fairly affordable for most. Entries due October 8th or 9th at the Uintah County Heritage Museum, 155 East Main, Vernal, UT

Entry Forms, Rules & Entry Labels are all ready to go for the Annual Outlaw Trail Festival of the Arts Juried Photo Shootout-and you can get to them right HERE. All applicable dates are listed in the rules.

“Circles, Columns & Rows” is the theme for 2015. If you want to compete in the “theme” area, it’s totally up to you to decide if your artwork relates to one, two or all three parts of that theme. Just be sure that a juror will be able to tell that it is obviously theme related.
